A Message From Our Principal

Dear Sequoia Families and Students,

     I am honored and excited to formally introduce myself as the new Principal of Sequoia. While many of you may already know me from my years here, I want to take a moment to express how truly grateful I am for the opportunity to serve our incredible school community in this new role.
     Seventeen years ago, when I first walked through the doors of Sequoia, I could never have imagined the journey that lay ahead. I certainly never imagined that one day I would have the privilege of serving as Principal. And yet—here we are. It is with immense gratitude that I accept this role, knowing how special this community truly is.
     This school has shaped me in ways I can hardly describe. It has been my professional home, a place where I’ve grown not only as an educator but as a person. What makes Sequoia so special has always been its people—our students, families, and the dedicated staff who show up every day with passion, purpose, and love.
     When I applied for this position, I did so with one clear intention: to serve. To serve our students, who inspire me daily with their resilience, curiosity, and kindness. To serve our families, who entrust us with their most precious gifts and who partner with us in the work of education. And to serve our staff, who pour their hearts into their work and make Sequoia a place where students thrive.
     I step into this role with deep respect for our history and with a clear vision for our future. I believe in fostering a school culture where every student is seen, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue to build on the strong foundation that makes Sequoia a place of learning, belonging, and growth.
